1) Move all the extensions included in this package into your Macintosh system folder. If your system is a PowerPC, make sure you have installed the QuickTime PowerPlug extension; otherwise, it is not necessary.
2) Open the QuickTime VR movie, "TMC", with the application VR Player.
3) Point the Mouse in the middle of the scene and press down to move right or
left, up or down. You can also use the arrow keys to maneuver through the
scene. Press the OPTION Key to Zoom In, Press the CONTROL Key to
Zoom Out
4) You can recognize a "hot spot" by the change in cursor; the cursor changes to an arrow when positioned over a "hot spot." Click on a hot spot to jump to another node when viewing a multi-node movie.
5) If you encounter difficulty viewing a VR file, you may need to allocate more memory for the QTVR Player.
CONFIGURING YOUR WEB BROWSER FOR VR PLAYER:
If you DON'T have Netscape 1.1:
If your browser cannot change/select "Helper Applications", simply launch the VR player and open the files from within the application. MOVIE PLAYER WILL NOT OPEN THESE FILES.
If you DO have Netscape 1.1:
You need to set the browser Preferences to the Mime Type video/quicktime and designate the QTVR Player as the Helper Application for the Mime Type video/quicktime.
1.From the Options menu, choose Preferences.
The Preferences window opens, showing Window and Link Styles.
2.From the menu displaying Window and Link Styles, choose Helper Applications.
The window changes to show the Helper Applications settings.
3.Select the Mime Type video/quicktime.
You'll need to scroll down to it, and the options aren't in alphabetical order. By
default, the video/quicktime application is Simple Player. In the next steps you'll
change this to QTVR Player.
4.Click the Browse button.
A file directory pop-up is displayed.
5.Select the QTVR Player and click Open.
You're most likely to find the Player in the Desktop Folder. (This is the NetScape
default Temporary Directory.)
When you click Open, the file directory closes, and NetScape Preferences is
displayed. QTVR Player is listed as the Application for the Mime Type
video/quicktime.
6.In Action, choose the option Launch Application.
7.Review the Preferences window and click OK. Save your Options and open a new
Netscape window.
You are now ready to download and launch VR movies!

TMC
This is Toad Hall, site of the quasi-legendary Tuesday Night Music Club. Some
great records have been made in these rooms, some of which you may own.
TMC members normally cluster around the center of the big room you see here.
They begin a discussion related to whatever subject is compelling enough to cut
through the gossip and the slander. A theme emerges. A "shining phrase" is
developed. The players spread to various corners where all manner of strange
instruments reside. They commence to "thrape" (banging on instruments and
implements with abandon) and some poor soul has the job of trying to record the
proceedings with a minimum of interruption.
Everybody's a singer, everybody's a lyricist, everybody's a philosopher. Even
the Apple crew who created this picture were reduced to chanting (in falsetto)
"Time is a hexagram, space is a wall of shame!"
